True to its commitment to environmental protection and conservation, GCash together with ALKFI promotes of the use of cashless technology at the ecopark making it more convenient for its patrons. This also marks the first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity participated in by at least 100 employees from Mynt, the operator of GCash.
“We are happy to bring the cashless technology of GCash to the La Mesa Ecopark and promote a fast, convenient and secure mode of payment for the attractions at the park for our valued guests and supporters, said Susan Afan, Managing Director of ALKFI.

“We are also very committed to the promotion of a cashless nation through valuable partnerships with various institutions such as ALKFI. We are also proud to bring our employees over to help in the rehabilitation of the ecopark as part of our CSR efforts geared towards the environmental protection and conservation, as shared by Mynt’s CEO, Anthony Thomas.
The GCash Quick Response Code (QR Code) has been provided to Bantay
Kalikasan at the attraction entrances and all the partner merchants of the La Mesa ecopark in Quezon City. The customer just need to tap on Scan QR, point a phone’s camera at the QR code, enter the amount to pay, and confirm the payment.

Every Buy Load GCash transaction done through the GCash App means donating an amount to the programs and advocacies of ALKFI. The partnership aims to convince the digital and non-digital natives that helping, may it big or small, can go a long way in the lives of children, communities, and those in need.
