Software/Hardware

Vivo V3 is running on Color OS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS it gives user to access apps and connectivity settings easier through an intuitive UI, The Vivo V3 UI and build design is quite similar to OPPO and iPhone. A lot of smartphone company/brand based their design on iOS products including the top brands like Samsung.

The Vivo V3 is build in sleek zircon sand-coated metallic unibody and now comes in more premium and stylish Rose Gold color. It also enhanced with 2.5D glass edges protection.

One of the main features is it fingerprint security sensor, what we like about the sensor, it was place at the back, it can easily unlock  the phone even using a single hand compare to the other which the sensor was placed in the home button that is more tricky to unlock and may can lead accidentally fall of your devices when using a single hand. The Fingerprint sensor can use 360 degress to unlock your smartphone at the speed of 0.02 second which is really fast and amazing. It also has dedicated Hi-Fi chipset that provides a crisper and more immersive listening experience.

  • LTE
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth 4.1
  • GPS
  • microUSB 2.0

Camera

The Vivo V3 has a 13MP Rear Camera and 8MP Front Camera. It has a fast shutter speed and processing time, which is one of the reason we are looking in a smartphone camera features. Some of the smartphone in the market with 13MP camera doesn't have a fast shutter speed or not able to shoot good photo on low light situation.

This our the sample photos taken by Vivo V3 smartphone, this photos are un-edit/enhance. We only put watermarks on the photo.

Performance

Play NBA 2K16 at mid setting and I was amaze that I can play smooth on Vivo V3 plus it doesn’t overheat. The Vivo V3 has Snapdragon 616 CPU compare to other like OPPO F1 and ASUS Selfie which has Snapdragon 615 CPU and I can only play NBA 2K16 smooth on a low graphic settings, the snapdragon 615 also has overheating issue and I think its resolve now in snapdragon 616 CPU.

What we like about Vivo V3

  • Fingerprint Sensor
  • Better Performance
  • No overheat issue
  • Metal body design
  • Better Camera
  • One of the Best smartphone at 10K below Price Range

Verdict
Is it worth it? My answer is yes, display, storage with dedicated expansion storage slot, multitasking, fingerprint security sensor, camera, its basically all you need is here.
