Huawei MatePad T8 Review: Your Arsenal for todays new normal living.


  Last month, Huawei officially launch its newest tablet in the Philippines, the MatePad T8. 

  The MatePad T8 is the most affordable tablet in the market today. Amid with the demand of consumers for gadgets today as they alternative device for work for home, online business, home schooling or just for entertainment. This tablet is just right for what they need.

Unboxing


    Huawei MatePad T8 box comes in white color with visibly tablet photo model showcasing what product they offer.

Out of the box the Huawei MatePad T8 comes with following:

Design



  The MatePad T8 can fit on hold with just one hand, don't afraid that the tablet might slip your hand thanks to its matte finish design.



  On the physical button, the MatePad T8 power button and volume rocker are both place on the right side of the tablet while the on the left side are SIM Card.




  The Stereo speakers and 3.55 audio jack are place at the top while the charging port is place at the bottom left part.

Camera


  The MatePad T8 is equipped with 5MP f/2.2 main camera while the front camera holds 2MP f/2.4 aperture and can record up to 720p resolution.

Performance

   For online meeting and classes you can use the Zoom App which can easily download on the Huawei App Gallery. For documents, pdf files and presentations you can use WPS Office or Microsoft Office.

  For video content streaming, the MatePad T8 is just the perfect gadget! with its 8-inch display, watching movie can be more fun since i can hold it with just one hand. Even it has a bigger screen the size is compact and yet lightweight even it holds 5,100mAh of battery.

  As you can see the MatePad T8 doesn't have navigation button, it uses gesture to go back, exit and switch applications.



  Swiping front the edge to right will go BACK to your previous page/activity, while swiping edge from the right to left will exit your current application and swiping from the bottom is serves as the home button that will go back to the main screen. To see all of your multi tab application you just need to swipe up on the home screen.

Gaming


  Aside from use as Homeschooling and media gadget, the MatePad T8 is a good in gaming for kids. With its big screen kids can enjoy gaming with wide range of game you can chose from Huawei App Gallery.

  We tried some of the in demand mobile games today to see how far the Huawei MatePad T8 can go.

  The most popular MOBA game today is playable on the MatePad T8, pretty sure not just kids but also teens and parents play this game.

Verdict

  We think the Huawei MatePad T8 is the best arsenal for today's new normal setup. With its capability, portability plus factor for it's affordable price. Filipinos doesn't need to spend more thanks to Huawei.
