NVIDIA announced its sponsorship of TNC Pro Team, a leading team of gamers in Defense of the Ancients 2, commonly known as Dota 2.
The sponsorship under the GeForce® eSports Preferred Partners Program includes the provision of award-winning NVIDIA GeForce 10 Series GPUs and other hardware, boot camp priority,technical and logistical support from NVIDIA globally.
Formed after winning a competition in December 2014, TNC Pro Team includes Theeban Siva, Timothy John Randrup, Sam Hidalgo, Marc Polo Luis Fausto and Carlo Palad.
The team stunned the world by winning the China Top 2017 in November and coming in second in the prestigious Mars Dota 2 League in Macau in December. It was also the first-ever Filipino team to win the World Electronic Sports Games Championships in March.
At the International 2017, it competed against the world’s perennial powerhouses and emerged the highest ranked in Southeast Asia by coming in the top 12.
TNC Pro Team is based in TheNet.Com, a NVIDIA GeForce-certified iCafe chain that is one of the fastest growing in the Philippines. The chain’s iCafes feature NVIDIA GPUs to give gamers a great gaming experience.
In today, TNC Pro Team, failed to defend the home crown in the recent Galaxy Battles event held in Philippine Arena. In March TNC will represent the SEA Region in The Bucharest Major in Romania after defeating Execration in the finals of the SEA Qualifiers.
